“ROCK NETBALL – rock Vanuatu” is a comprehensive NCD prevention program that aims to engage sedentary urban women from Vanuatu in a weekly one hour session of physical activities. NCD risk factor screenings are provided.
Participants are very motivated to achieve long-term lifestyle changes.
“Non-Communicable Diseases is the biggest killer disease at the moment in Vanuatu and thus it is in our best interest to instill some fundamental principles of self discipline in our children at an early age in order to foster a healthy and disciplined lifestyle”, stated Minister Tony Wright.
